Warmwell Caravan Park is set in a wooded area on different levels, with lots of wildlife including Sika deer, rabbits and lots of different birds, (Buzzards, Tawny Owls, Jays, Green & Great Spotted Woodpeckers to name but a few), butterflies and moths.
Nearby is the historic county town of Dorchester (5.5 miles from Warmwell) and other towns and villages of interest including Tolpuddle (7.8 miles from Warmwell), where there is a museum dedicated to the Tolpuddle Martyrs.
Enjoy walking? Near Warmwell are many paths on which to go walking, ranging from coastal to forest and heathland and, when open, range walks (be sure to check first).

A few hundred metres from the park is the Jubilee Trail, which runs for 90 miles from the Hampshire border at Bokerley Dyke, through Dorset to finish on the Somerset border at Forde Abbey.

You can also enjoy the nostalgia of a preserved railway and take a ride to the seaside town of Swanage, passing the impressive Corfe Castle on the way.
Just 20 miles away is Poole Harbour, where you can take a boat trip to Brownsea Island and wander through the trees to watch Red Squirrels.
