FAQs  

Q. What other expenses will I have after purchase?
A. personal gas, electric and WI-FI usage

Q. What are pitch fees?
A. Pitch fees are a yearly charge for stationing your holiday home at the park, the fees also cover park maintenance and repair, staff and running costs, access and maintenance of park facilities, refuge, personal water usage and any re-development needed.

Pitch fees are payable in two instalments 1st March and 1st September annually.

Q. Are there any access restrictions?
A. NO, Owners and family can access their holiday home 24/7 during our open season via access key fob.

Q. What entertainment is on offer at the park?
A. The park has a bar and restaurant which is open on a number dependent basis, we also hold events in the bar such as live music, bingo, Quiz, charity nights ect… the bar and restaurants is closed to the public, only owners and their friends and family can use the bar and restaurant.

Q. Can I live in my holiday home?
A. NO, the park is licences for holiday use only. Owners and their family may use their holiday home for a maximum of 28 days at a time with a 48 hour break from the park; this is to comply with Dorset council rules.

Q. What support is there once I’ve purchased my holiday home?
A. Warmwell has an experienced team who can give advise to new owners or conduct any maintenance or repair required.

Q. Is the park dog friendly?
A. Yes, the park is dog friendly, dogs are allowed in reception the bar & restaurant. We allow a maximum of 2 dogs per holiday home at any one time.

Q. Do you offer caravan insurance?
A. YES, Please ask at reception for more details.

Q. Can I rent out my holiday home?
A. NO, The park is exclusively owners only with family and friends.

Q. Do I own the land?
A. NO, the park owns the land which your holiday home is stationed on.

Q. When are we open?
A. The park is open 1st March- 2nd January (10 month season).

Q. Can my family and friends use our holiday home?
A. YES, family and friends may use your holiday home but it should be noted that friends must be accompanied by an owner when on the park.

Q. Are there any hidden fees to my purchase?
A. NO, at Warmwell all our holiday homes are sold as a package. Convenience extras such as air conditioning, wireless thermostats and storage boxes are available at extra charge.

Q. Are holiday homes expensive to maintain?
A. New holiday homes are built to impressive standards using good quality insulation, double glazing and finishing touches to make your home extra special, typically they have relatively low maintenance costs.

We have Seasonal pitches for Static Caravan Holiday Homes and Seasonal pitches for Touring Caravans.
We do not have pitches for short stays with caravans, motorhomes or tents.
Warmwell Caravan Park has permission for holiday use only and you cannot live here.
